As we left sunny southern California, we wish we weren't! It was delightful and we can't wait to go again! However, there were more fun times on returning home. Mary-Kathryn (Alex's wife) and their two daughters, Isabel and Halle, were visiting from their home in San Antonio, TX where Alex was doing his last rotation in Houston for a month in Ears, Nose and Throat.
We celebrated Izzie's 5th Birthday with her cousins on the McKinlay and Brockbank sides. Ethan, Lauren, Hannah, Mason, Chloe, Andrew and Zachary were all there from Utah! It was wonderful to see the grandchildren having so much fun together. It was very special being able to see MK, Izzie and Halle again and to spend time with them.
