After living 25 years in CT and raising our family there, Doug was called to serve as a Mission President to the Arizona, Tucson Mission in 1996 and we moved to Utah upon completion of our mission in 1999. Doug is a Professor at BYU in the Department of Communications and teaches Advertising and Marketing and is a Marketing Consultant. Betty Jo has worked as a Human Resources Manager and has been working in the Real Estate industry for six years. We have moved into our dream home, the home we built, in March of 2005, and love it. Even though we miss all of our friends from the East and our Mission and Missionaries, we are enjoying our new life in the West. We have many opportunities to serve and have made many wonderful new friends. We think we've adjusted as "empty nesters", but that's always open for discussion! Our children are all married now and have all been sealed in the Temple. They have wonderful spouses! We have been blessed with 15 grandchildren with two more on the way this year! We have 8 grand daughters and 7 grandsons - all a joy to us. Our lives are full and rich and we are grateful for one another, our family, our freedoms and for life itself.
